[ Erestor stops only long enough to grab some of Celebrian's apple juice from the fridge before heading over.

Prince Earendil?

{Eärendil can be heard coaxing someone to stay put. Then he opens the door and smiles.}

Come in! {He is dressed as a little Prince - even wearing his silver circlet on his golden hair.} I hope you don't mind Lady Uil joining us. She likes to watch me.

[ Erestor approves of his clothing choices.

He lifts an amused eyebrow and bows politely to him ]

Thank you for the invitation. And if Lady Uil wishes to join us I do not mind at all.

[ he'll even offer a hand for the pup to sniff ]

{Uil is getting around on three feet while her paw heels, but her spirit is as bright as ever. She licks Erestor's hand and leads the way to the music room. Eärendil smiles and gently tugs on Erestor's sleeve.

In the music room, there is a pie waiting with two dessert plates.}

[ SUDDEN FOREBODING FEELING GO ]

I know. {He serves the pie and sits down, dusting off his hands.} Uncle Ecthelion and Uncle Glorfindel like you. I can tell you are important to them.

It feels...strange...to not know you too.

Erestor crooks a wry smile at Earendil and accepts the plate with thanks, pouring them both the juice ]

I suppose that is true. I am very fond of them as well. I fear I am quite boring, however!

{Uil crawls onto a pillow and watches them, ears perked. Eärendil takes a bite of pie before answering.}

You can't be boring. They wouldn't like someone boring.

Well, I suppose it would depend on who you asked and what their definition of boring is, no?

[ Oh no, no no, he shakes his head immediately ]

I would ask them! And... I think Uncle Glorfindel thinks meetings are boring. Paperwork too. As for Uncle Ecthelion...

Maybe a place with no music?

{He pales and peeks at Erestor.}

They told me that too, but if I had been able to fight, they might have escaped with us.

Which is why I am always impressed when he comes to join me and try and help with mine.

[ Erestor shakes his head firmly and reaches across to tap Earendil's arm until he can meet his eyes firmly ]

And do your uncles lie? If they do not blame you, then why do you blame yourself? One more blade would be of little use in a rout.

A few scratches, I think. I did not sleep much down there, anything that tried to attack me- I had Telpënár with me.

More or less, milady. I regret to inform you that both your father and your mother's rooms are empty, as of a few weeks ago - it seems they have returned home. Also, Lord Glorfindel and Lord Ecthelion are gone.
